Hand Drawn by Hartwig Braun: Official Launch

We’re nearly ready!

To anyone who hasn’t seen our Facebook event or aren’t registered to our mail out (which you can also do here if you haven’t already) you probably won’t be aware that we have a really exciting event coming your way in a few days time in regards to Hartwig’s representation as an artist. With this in mind, we wish to extend an invitation for you to come to the official launch of Hartwigs very first solo exhibition entitled ‘Hand Drawn by Hartwig Braun’.

“Arty Globe is proud to present ‘Hand Drawn by Hartwig Braun’, a permanent yet evolving exhibition space designed to celebrate the journey and practice of the company’s in-house artist, Hartwig Braun. Playfully challenging the rules of perspective, Braun intends to portray something striking, adventurous and unique within his works, capturing the essence of the city out of the familiar urban cityscape whilst preserving a meticulous sense of detail and accuracy. The philosophy behind the work is all about discovering a new perspective within the urban amongst visual iconography.”

You can view our press release in full here.

It promises to be not only a very special opening but also a fantastic show, visually explaining how Hartwig himself creates the drawings you’ve come to know and love. The exhibition itself will be in our downstairs space within our Gallery Shop in Greenwich Market, to find us click here for a map to where we are situated.

If you can’t make the event but are still eager to see the show itself, don’t fret! This exhibition is designed to compliment our upstairs shop-space as well a being an independent exhibition which means it stands permanent. With time this space will evolve in terms of its content but it will always exist, so you have plenty of time to come and absorb yourself in Hartwig’s process.

This event opens on 4th February 2016 at 6:30pm, more information can be found here as well as the ability to RSVP. Complimentary drinks will also be provided, which is the perfect excuse in itself to come and see what we at Arty Globe have collectively been working so hard on.

We hope to see you there!
